You can’t think your way into clarity
Nov 09, 2025
If you’re multi-passionate, stop trying to think your way into clarity. You have to live your way there.
There’s a reason your color-coded Notion project, vision map, and 47 sticky notes haven’t given you the breakthrough you’re craving. Because clarity doesn’t happen in spreadsheets and strategy sessions. It happens in motion, when you do the thing, touch the thing, try the thing.
I know this because I used to be that person who thought if I could just plan harder, journal deeper, or visualize longer, I’d somehow arrive at clarity. Spoiler alert: I didn’t.
The store that taught me a couple of things
Years ago, I started a holistic online store. I handmade crystal-infused waist beads, sold sage, crystals, oils, jewellery, and more.
Did I know what I was doing? Absolutely not.
Did I know if it was going to work? Also no.
But I didn’t wait to feel ready.
I ordered small batches, learned about suppliers, tested materials, and shipped from my living room. Every sale taught me something new, about energy, creativity, and what flow really feels like when your hands are literally in the work.
And that’s when it clicked: being multi-passionate isn’t about finding the perfect path. It’s about running micro-experiments that teach you who you are through what you try.
You can’t “think” your way into experience
So many of us sit on million-dollar ideas because we’re waiting to feel “certain.”
But certainty doesn’t come before action, it’s the reward of action.
Your brain can only take you so far. Your body, your energy, your lived experience, that’s the data you need.
We need to feel how something lands in our spirit.
We need to see how it fits into our schedule.
We need to test how it affects our peace, our time, and our joy.
That’s how you find what’s real.
Start small. Start messy. Start real.
If that idea is still living rent-free in your head, that’s your sign.
Try the thing. Post the offer. Make the sample. See how it feels in your life, not just in your mind.
Because clarity isn’t a thought, it’s a felt experience.
And the only way to know if something’s for you… is to do it.
